Sarita Pockell and Vaudevillians Stage Troupe

 Sarita Pockell, children's music singer-songwriter and musical theatre director (who wrote "One is the Sun" and many other classic songs for young people) is coming to Orcas!  She will be arriving with seven young performers from the Bay Area and will be offering a weekend workshop culminating in a Caberet-style performance:  a collaboration between her California troupe and stage-loving kids from the island.  Sarita directs Vaudevillians Stage Troupe, a unique performance company of kids ages 5 to 14 years old that specializes in producing flexible, child-based cabaret-style shows.  No experience necessary, just a wish to be on stage, and have a good time!


Sarita and her Troupe will be offering a three day workshop: July 15-17th, 2011!!!

Rehearsals:  Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16th:  11:00am-3:00pm (bring a lunch)
Dress rehearsal: July 17th (10:00am to 1:00pm)


Show: July 17th: Sunday in the park
